I have enclosed the color geologic map that you
provided on loan.
I have asked Climax to provide DMG with a written commitment for continued
monitoring of the existing wells below the Mayflower Dam, and a commitment
to analyze for a complete suite of regulated metals using laboratory
procedures of analysis that will have sufficiently low detection limits
to assure protection of potential beneficial groundwater uses. Once these
commitments from Climax are in place, I believe DMG will be in a position
to recommend that groundwater monitoring requirements be dropped from
Climax's CDPS Permit. I will contact you once I have received and
reviewed the information requested from Climax.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
/ L
Allen C.
