Climax Molybdenum Company can agree with the Division's October
28th requested modification of containment using geomembrane at Station 16+80.
Attached is a detail for a geomembrane boot on the leak collection and conveyance
system suggested by our certifying engineer. A continuous geomembrane containment,
using this boot, would be provided on the upstream face of the seep collection system at
the clay barrier. Please let me know if this system is acceptable to Division criteria for
containment of 4-Dam seep waters.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
;4,
g
Bryce R.
