Mine water inflow was collected in a sump and discharged from
the mine by pumping. Table 3 presents average daily discharge from the
mine (calculated from daily pump records and averaged for each month.
Figure 3 graphically displays this hydrograph for 1987 . Average daily
discharge ranged from 71 , 136 gpd during May to 152 , 250 gpd during
November. The mine inflow study estimated 123 gpm flowing into the
mine which relates to 177, 120 gpd. Calculated discharges were somewhat
lower than the estimated inflow (Table 3) .
