COLORADO DIVISION OF MINERALS AND GEOLOGY
ANNUAL REPORT FOR
SPEER MINING RESOURCE
M- 1983 -176 AM -4
ASPHALT SPECIALTIES CO., INC.
DECEMBER 9, 2011 TO DECEMBER 9, 2012
1. The
office building (an old farmhouse) is currently being used as an office, but ultimately will
probably be removed. Reclamation during the next reporting year will be as continued
backfill in the southern and central area of the permit site.
Groundwater monitoring results are now being performed as part of a groundwater
quality monitoring program required by the CDPHE for the inert filling and results are
given to them quarterly. Monitoring separately for this DRMS permit is no longer
necessary as the monitoring is now being handled through the CDPHE. Should any water
