From the Ground Up. <br />September 20, 2012 <br />Parkfield Partners, LLC <br />c/o Clay Carlson <br />12460 1 Street <br />POB 247 <br />Eastlake, CO 80614 -0247 <br />RE: Augmentation Water Rental for Parkfield Partners, LLC (November 2012 - March 2013) <br />Dear Clay, <br />The city of Greeley ( "Greeley ") accepts Parkfield Partners, LLC's ( "Parkfield ") for augmentation water to <br />cover the transit loss associated with the 22 acre -feet augmentation rental already approved and paid for <br />November 2012 through March 2013. Greeley will make available to Parkfield, LLC wholly consumable <br />water that has been changed for augmentation use at one of the following locations: 1) in the Cache la <br />Poudre River immediately below Greeley's existing wastewater treatment plant outfall, at the outlet of the <br />Flatiron Reservoir Nos. 1 -5 (aka Poudre Ponds at Greeley), or at delivery stations from the Greeley Canal <br />No. 3; 2) in Lonetree Creek, a tributary to the South Platte River, immediately below the Swift wastewater <br />treatment plant outfall; 3) in the Big Thompson River at delivery stations or release structures from the <br />Greeley Loveland Canal and related structures; or 4) at such other point or points Greeley chooses by <br />giving written notice to the Parkfield Partners OR in the Cache la Poudre or Big Thompson Rivers at <br />delivery stations or release structures owned and operated by Greeley or available for Greeley's use where <br />Greeley has augmentation water legally and physically available. Greeley anticipates making releases <br />from its wastewater treatment plant outfall located on the Cache la Poudre River. If Greeley changes the <br />point of delivery, it will provide written notice to Parkfield. <br />The shrink associated with the 22 acre -feet augmentation lease totals 0.29 acre -feet (.25% per 5.2 miles of <br />river). <br />The current rate for augmentation water is $600 /acre -foot, for a total of $174.00. Please mail your <br />payment to the address found at the bottom of this letter, ATTN: Jen Petrzelka.
