Wouldn't it be necessary to periodically clean out the <br /> canals of debris that accumulates? What GFS were the canals designed <br /> to handle? What is the "probably maximum flood" US? <br /> 12. Page 8 - 12 and 1: What techniques will be used in directing the <br /> pond-to-pond flow so as to prevent channel cutting into the tailings <br /> below the rock veneers? <br /> 13. Page 10 - 8 and 9: On the shrub plantings, we need a more definitive <br /> statement as to what you would plant now if you had to reclaim it now. <br /> Also, we need an indication of the pattern of planting that would be <br /> used. <br /> 14. Page 10 - 11: What is your bast estimate of the duration of the <br /> fertilizer maintenance program? <br /> 15. Page 10 - 12 and 13: There is too much emphasis on research problems <br /> and not sufficient information on what would be done now if you had to <br /> do it now. <br />
