We <br /> thought the meeting held last Friday was very beneficial, <br /> interesting and stimulating. <br /> As a result of your written comments submitted to <br /> Climax and our discussion last Friday, both general and <br /> specific concerns of the DOW and Climax were resolved. This <br /> letter is intended to document the relevant aspects of our <br /> discussion for your review and approval. Further, we believe <br /> that we were in agreement and that the information provided <br /> herein appears essential only to the purpose of providing a <br /> better understanding of the reclamation plan and does not <br /> alter the nature, scope ,or obligations of the reclamation <br /> plan itself. You have expressed your belief that this <br /> information should be acceptable to the Reclamation Division <br /> staff as additional information and should not modify the <br /> schedule for the consideration of our permit application. <br /> Climax and Urad experience, research and development of <br /> techniques and diversified plant materials , and piecemeal <br /> reclamation of tailing and Open Pit waste rock dumps will <br /> provide the ground work for a high probability of reclamation <br /> success with low environmental risks. Reclamation to the <br /> Open Woodland concept as it pertains to Climax offers practi- <br /> cality and flexibility which will allow for future managerial <br /> input into a limited multiple use type of management for <br /> both the reclaimed and undisturbed lands in the Climax area. <br /> Though the Open Woodland concept is not specifically directed <br />
