STATE OF COLORADO
Please be advised that Valco, Inc., whose address is 12753 S Parker Rd, Suite 203 Parker, Colorado
80134, has filed a Notice of Temporary Cessation with the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
(Division) for the Lamar West Pit. The mining operation is located at or near Section 31, Township 22
South, Range 46 West, 6th Principal Meridian, in Prowers County.
The first five -year period of temporary cessation will begin on October 23, 2012 and will last up to five
years from that date. The notice submitted to the Division contains information pertaining to the reason
for cessation of the mining operation, a plan for resumption, and the measures taken to comply with the
performance standards of Rule 3 of the Rules and Regulations.
The receipt of the Notice of Temporary Cessation was acknowledged in the monthly activity /agenda
report attached to the agenda at the November 13, 2012 meeting of the Mined Land Reclamation Board.
