TABLE 22-2
• (Continued)
Seed Mix No. 1B - Shrub Grassland - Haul Road Corridor and Mine Area
Seed Mix No. 113 will be used for seeding upland disturbances along the haul road corridor and on the
Sage Creek disturbance areas. It will be based on Seed Mix No. 1A with the following exceptions;
Drop: Svtrtphoricarbor Wundi oliu
Add: Krarcheninnikooia Janata - winterfat at 2.00 PIS lbs /ac (2.6 seeds /ft
Total for Seed Mix No. IB 13.68 PIS lbs /ac (64.6 seeds /ft2)
Species substitutions will only occur when availability of any of the listed species is a problem. The
species listed in Seed Mix Nos. 1A and 1B have been selected for normally consistent availability.
However, adverse environmental conditions, poor seed production, or excessive market demand may
occasionally limit supplies. For species that have several developed cultivars, alternative cultivars will
• be evaluated for substitutions. When cultivars are unavailable, regional native sources will be used.
Complete lack of availability will normally be limited to the native forbs and shrubs listed
Substitutions in this case will be determined by reviewing the species list in Tab 10, Vegetation, and
r
LJ
selecting adapted and desirable native species replacements offered by seed dealers. Any substitutions
will be noted in the Annual Reclamation Report
PR -02 12 Revised 10105
