 ENERGY FUELS RESOURCES
CORPORATION
Combined, the 3`d rim unit is approximately 55 feet thick (1005 to 1060 feet deep) with an 18
foot thick mud split that is interbedded with thin sandstones in the middle. The upper
sandstone, between 1005 and 1022 feet deep appears typical for Salt Wash and the lower sand
between 1040 to 1062 feet deep was redder than the 3 d rim sandstone usually is. The hole
continued through 40 feet of red mudstone beneath the 3`d rim. The depths for the target
sandstone match the projection for the well. The closest historic hole along strike to this hole
lies about 4,000 feet to the west and shows the 3`d rim to be split similarly into two or three thin
sandstone units.
cc -Bob Oswald DRMS
cc -Russ Means DRMS
cc -Jamie Blair BLM
cc -Bruce Smith Western Water and Land
cc -Frank Filas EFR
cc -Ryan Ellis EFR
cc -Dick White EFR
cc -Tyler Johnson EFR
