Pineda <br />Director <br />We have received your application to renew your permit to conduct coal mining in Colorado. Our initial <br />review indicates that all preliminary items required by Rule 2.08.5(2)(b) have not been submitted. Thus, <br />your application is incomplete for the purposes of filing as of November 8, 2012. Please address the <br />following items. <br />The application form submitted is not the form approved and provided by the Division. In <br />accordance with Rule 2.033(6), an application for a surface coal mining reclamation permit shall be <br />made on the forms provided by the Division. Please resubmit the application on the approved form. <br />An electronic form is available on the Division's website: <br />http://mininy.state.co.us/coalFon-ns/RenewalApp.pd f <br />2. The comment due date on the submitted public notice is incorrect. In accordance with Rule <br />2.07.3(5), written objections to or comments upon the initial or revised application for a permit <br />renewal must be submitted to the Division within 30 days after the last date of the publication of the <br />required notice. <br />hl accordance with Rule 2.073(1), you have the opportunity to amend, review, or otherwise make your <br />application complete. Rule 2.08.5(3)(f) requires a complete application for a renewal must be received at <br />least 180 days prior to the expiration of the permit.
