Note to Reviewer
A note to the reviewer regarding terminology in this PAP document:
The total disturbed area of the PSCM is 1,912.8 acres, comprised of 1,845.8 acres
previously disturbed by the Seneca 11 Mine activities and 67 acres of disturbance
associated with new activities incidental to underground mining activities. Within
the 1,912.8 acre total disturbance area there are 356.4 acres where PSCM will
conduct operations incidental to the proposed new underground mining activities.
This will include the 67 acres of new disturbance and 289.4 acres of existing
facilities and redisturbance of lands previously reclaimed. Throughout this permit
application document, a reference to the "disturbed area" or "surface disturbance
area" applies only to the 356 acre area where there will be activities incidental to
PSCM underground mining activities, unless the reference specifically includes
previously mined lands where activities incidental to the proposed underground
mining will not be conducted.-
.4--
