MANAGEMENT <br />The DRMS' letter dated September 10, 2012 transmitted its adequacy comments <br />regarding Permit Renewal Application No. 6. Following are Snowcap Coal <br />Company, Inc.'s (SCC) responses to the DRMS' comments and concerns: <br />RN -6 ADEQUACY REVIEW COMMENTS <br />Rule 2.03.4 Identification of Interests <br />DRMS — For AEP Coal, Inc., the following people were listed on AVS but <br />not listed on the Directors /Officers Report: Jeffrey D. Cross as Manager <br />beginning on 10/29/2001. Please have Jeffrey D. Cross listed as Manager <br />added to AEP Coal, Inc. list or information on his end -date as Manager <br />should be provided to the Division. AVS has the following Shareholder <br />listed but not listed on the Directors /Officers Report AEP Kentucky Coal <br />LLC and SEP Ohio Coal LLC. <br />SCC — Jeffrey D. Cross was added to AEP Coal, Inc. as Manager <br />beginning on 10/29/2001 on revised appendix page A3 -1 -2. After several <br />phone conversations between Mike Boulay and Mary Rodriguez, DRMS, <br />Linda Keene, OSM, and Tonya Hammond, SCC, it was determined that <br />directors and officers for AEP Kentucky Coal LLC and AEP Ohio Coal LLC <br />were not required to be included in SCC's permit. <br />2.
