Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N - Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Hayden Gulch Loadout conducted by Brock Bowles of the Colorado Division <br /> of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. Mr. Dennis Bugay with Hayden Gulch Terminal was aware of the inspection <br /> but did go on the inspection. The weather was clear and sunny. The ground conditions were dry. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05❑ Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br /> 4.05.6, Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br /> Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The truck-loop pond contained water. The banks were well vegetated and appeared to be stable (photo 1). <br /> Many culverts along the haul road were checked. The following culverts were free of debris and appear to be <br /> functioning properly: TAHRC-18, -17, -16, -13, -12, -10, -11, -7, -6, -6A, -5, -5A, -5A, RRC-17-A, -B, -C(photo <br /> 2) and-16. <br /> The ditch downhill of culvert TAHRC-10 is becoming incised and some rills are forming from the road surface <br /> (photo 3). This was discussed with Mr. Bugay and he will look at the area to determine the necessary corrective <br /> action. <br /> ROADS —Rule 4.0311 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3)11 Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4)11 Surfacing and <br /> Maintenance4.03.1(5)and(6)/4.03.2(5) and(6)❑ Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> The tie-across haul road was well maintained and in good condition. Many vehicles were using the road <br /> during the inspection. <br /> REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15❑ Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> The reclaimed area southeast of the rail-loop had sparse vegetation present.
