Pineda <br />Director <br />Little Snake Field Office <br />455 Emerson St. <br />Craig, CO 81625 <br />Re: Yoast Mine (Permit No. C- 1994 -082) <br />Surety Increase No. 1 (SI -1) <br />Dear Ms. Maiolo: <br />This letter, in accordance with Rule 3.02.2(4)(b) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, is to inform you that the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety has issued a proposed decision to approve Surety Increase No. 1 <br />(SI -1) for the Yoast Mine. Enclosed is the Division's written findings. The proposed decision <br />will be published in the Steamboat Pilot, as soon as possible. Publication of the notice initiates a <br />thirty -day public comment period. If there are no requests for an adjudicatory hearing within the <br />thirty days, the decision will become final. <br />As provided by Rule 3.02.2(4)(c), should you object to the Division's proposed decision, you <br />may request an adjudicatory hearing. <br />If you have questions or are in need of additional information, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />Susan L.
