The
revision was called complete on November 8, 2012. The decision due date is January 7, 2013.

The revision documents the remediation activities of the Pond 016A slide area. It includes a summary of the
construction activities, maps showing the structure locations and post mining topography, and documentation
from NWCC (engineering firm) regarding material placement and compaction results and a recommendation
to delay topsoil placement until 2013. The revision also modifies the Runoff Control Structures design to
allow dewatering pipes through the embankment to be increased in size if necessary.

The revision is available to review on the Division’s website:

http://drmsweblink.state.co.us/drmsweblink/search.aspx?dbid=0

If you have any questions, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Jared L.
