Please respond. <br />We understand this requirement. No more then 3.60 acres of water <br />surface area will be opened until additional water has ben pur- <br />chased and its use is approved for this site by the State Engi- <br />neer's office. A copy of approved Augmentation Plan and approval <br />from the SEO's office will be provided to the Division prior to the <br />expansion, above the 3.60 acre limit. <br />17. The applicant has identified the permitted wells within 200 ft of the permit boundary The Division <br />of Water Resource's "General Guidelines for Substitute Water Supply Plans for Sand and Gravel <br />Pits" requires Operators to obtain waivers from owners of wells within 600 ft of the water surface. <br />Please identify any owners of permitted wells that occur within 600 ft of the existing or proposed <br />water surfaces. <br />In 2009, during the application process for the mine's well permit <br />the State Engineers office determined that the only well within 600 <br />feet of the new permit area was the Dorn Ready -Mix Corp. gravel pit <br />well west of the mine. They issued a well permit for Green Bros <br />Pit #2 based on that determination. FYI, A waiver from Dorn was <br />received by the SEO's office on July 6, 2006. <br />6.4.10 Exhibit J - Vegetation Information <br />18. As required by Rule 6.4.10(1)(c), please provide estimates of average carrying capacity of range <br />lands on or in the vicinity of the Affected Lands. <br />C.W. Smith of the Morgan NRCS office estimates the average carrying <br />capacity is 1.04 animal units per ac per month.
