Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a aerial inspection of the Seneca II-W Mine; C-1982-057 operated by Seneca Coal Company,LLC. <br /> Harry Ranney with the Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety(Division)took the aerial <br /> photographs. I,Jared Ebert with the Division reviewed the photographs. The weather appeared clear and sunny. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05,Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br /> 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br /> Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The primary drainages and lateral drains of the south mining area draining to Pond 016 appear to have been <br /> recently maintained. Drainages PM2-A and PM2-C are almost completely lined with rip-rap. <br /> Stock tanks T-26 and T-27 were holding water and appeared functional. <br /> Pond 016 was holding water. The embankment appeared stable. <br /> Drainage PM-3 appears stable. Rip-rap has been installed below the spillway of each of the surge tanks. <br /> Drainage PM-6 was observed, a shovel was placing rock in the channel. <br /> Figures 6 and 7 depict the area of the PM5-A and PM5-B drainage to Pond 015.
