6 . Mine dewatering line from Corley Well : permitted <br /> with the approval of Technical Revision No . 10 on <br /> 9/6//91 . <br /> Loadout <br /> 1 . Railway Containment Area: Technical Revision No. 15 <br /> provided the necessary SAE demonstrations . The <br /> area was fitted with a silt fence for sediment <br /> drainage to the west with the approval of TR 17 , <br /> approved 12/1/93 . <br /> 2 . Southwest Sediment Trap: Located on the eastern side <br /> of the loadout, the trap has been fitted with a <br /> silt fence for sediment drainage with the approval <br /> of TR 17 . <br /> 3 . Former truck-turn-around: Located on the eastern <br /> side of the loadout, this area has also been fitted <br /> with a silt fence for sediment control through TR <br /> 17 approval . <br /> EFCI has submitted all hydrologic calculations and SEDCAD <br /> predictions for the SAE ' s permitted both at the mine and <br /> loadout sites which can be found in Exhibit 19 , Appendix C of <br /> the permit application. <br /> All the remaining surface disturbed areas drain directly or <br /> are routed indirectly through one of the three sediment ponds <br /> on the mine site, or two at the loadout . Sediment ponds 1, 4 <br /> and 5 are used for sediment settling at the mine site, while <br /> sediment ponds L-1 and L-2 are used for sediment settling at <br /> the loadout . <br /> Sediment ponds 2 and 3 are part of a water recycling system <br /> that is used primarily for storage of water pumped from the <br /> Corley Well and used in the mine processing facility. <br /> B. Stream Channel Diversions <br /> 1 . The Division has approved the permanent diversion of <br /> Magpie Creek, an ephemeral channel draining at least one <br /> square mile. This decision is based on a finding that <br /> the proposed diversion meets the requirements of Rule <br /> 4 . 05 . 18 and 4 . 05 . 4, applicable local, State, and Federal <br /> statutes and regulations and that the diversion is <br /> Southfield Mine Permit Renewal 03 <br /> 34 <br />
