No field visit was made. The <br />purpose of this letter is to develop a reclamation plan to be implemented <br />after mining is completed. This letter should not be represented as an <br />endorsement of the purposed business or activity and other licensing may be <br />required. For specific information on licensing of mining and quarry <br />operations in Colorado please contact the Colorado Division of Reclamation <br />Mining and Safety. The following information may be used to fulfill <br />reclamation requirements. <br />The site contains approximately 118.1 acres of prime farmlands. The owner <br />of the land Stonewall Springs Quarry LLC will be responsible for reclamation. <br />The post - mining land use will be ponds. It is not anticipated that <br />groundwater will be intercepted by this activity (though it should be noted <br />this is a danger with these types of operations). <br />The soil types identified for this area are as fellows; Apishapa silty clay, <br />Bankard sand, Bloom silt loam, Las Animas fine sandy loam, Limon silty clay <br />loam, Otero clay loam, and Rocky Ford silty day loam. This soil is more fully <br />described in the attached material.
