In the months of March and July 1998,a total of 23 monitor
wells were installed. The locations of these wells are indicated on the
accompanying map"Alluvial Groundwater Monitor Wells".
Total depth for individual wells ranged from 9 to 56 feet,with an average
depth of 29 feet. Completion diagrams for each of the wells are also
enclosed.
With respect to installation of the wells,please be informed of the following
• No roads were built to access the well sites;
• No excavations were made at the well sites;
• No soil or vegetation was cleared from the well sites.
A post-installation inspection was made of all well sites in August 1998 and
it was determined that the sites were in a condition(with respect to soil and
vegetation)essentially the same as before well installation.
