Permit Renewal No. 6 (RN6), Adequacy Review No. 2
Dear Mr. Luke,
The Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety (Division) received an application to renew the reclamation
permit for the Trapper Mine; Permit No. C- 1981 -010 on June 20, 2012. The application was called complete for
review on June 29, 2012. The decision date for the permit renewal application is October 27, 2012. Per our
discussion with Sandy Brown of the Division, we acknowledge Trapper will be submitting a Permit Revision
application likely in the end of November of this year. Given this, many of the adequacy review questions listed
in the Division's August 21, 2012 adequacy review letter will need to be addressed with the forthcoming Permit
Revision. The Division does not wish to delay the renewal of the permit and desires to finalize the Permit
Renewal process. Given this, the Division believes the following items will need to be addressed at a minimum in
order to process the renewal.
The following items will need to be addressed prior to the approval of the application:
1.2 General Corporate Information
For Trapper Mining Inc., the following people were listed on AVS but not listed in the Directors /Officers
Report: William W. Arnett as Chairman of the Board and Director beginning on 04/15/1987. Cindy
Crane as Director beginning on 03/01/2009. Brian Moeck as Director beginning on 05/10/1999. Bret
Morgan as Director beginning on 05/01/2008. Ralph Mullinix as Director beginning on 10/26/1998. Glen
D. Reeves as Director beginning on 10/18/1995. Michael Sorensen as Director beginning on 05/01/2007.
William F. Haffner as Director beginning on 06/06/2007. These officers should either be added to
Trapper Mining Inc. list or information or their end -dates should be provided to the Division.
2. For Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District, the following people were listed on
AVS but not listed on the Directors /Officers Report: Wayne Hart as Director beginning on 06/01/2009.
Larry D. Rovey as Director beginning on 01/01/2000. Carl E. Weiler as Director beginning on
05/01/1994. These officers should either be added to Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and
Power District list or information on their end -dates should be provided to the Division. William Fork Co.
is listed in AVS as 29% Shareholder but not listed on the Directors /Officers Report.
3. For Platte River Power Authority, the following people were listed on AVS but not listed on the
Directors /Officers Report: Bryan Baum as Director beginning on 11/01/2010. Doug Hutchinson as
Chairman of the Board beginning on 01/01/2005. Brian Janonis as Director beginning on 01/01/2008.
Ralph Mullinix as Chairman of the Board beginning on 01/01/1994. Bill Pinkham as Director beginning
