LARIMER 4-or Correct v E
COUNTY
n
ass
COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE
Memo To: Mr. Eric Scott
From: Dennis C. Morrison
Date: Oct.18, 2012
Subject: Horton pit ID #M- 1985 -135
Eric, after receiving the inspection report and reviewing it with my director Dale Miller,
we came to the conclusion that we can correct the problems, but did not want a release
from reclamation.
We want to fence the south side of the site, however our Engineering Dept. will not be
able to resurrect the boundary markers for a month or so. Along with fencing, we will
deal with the erosion issue and the separate irrigation leak problem with the ranch on -
the south of the site that is causing standing water at a low spot on site.
Dealing with the owner to the south can be a delicate situation at best and might slow
the up process.
will send you photographs of our progress.
., r t s d s /Q g C'I.t r
Road and Bridge Department
Dennis C.
