Hickenlooper
Governor
Mike King
Executive Director
Loretta E. Pineda
Director
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) received a letter dated
October 15, 2012 from J. E. Stover & Associates, Inc. requesting to withdraw Technical
Revision No. 24 (on behalf of CAM Mining, LLC) for the Munger Canyon Mine. The technical
revision was originally submitted on August 13, 2012 to revise the culvert reclamation plan for
the lower portion of the Munger Canyon mine access road. This revision would have allowed
two large culverts to remain in place. As you know, the Bureau of Land Management indicated
that the culverts need to be removed and replaced with dry fords as originally planned. The
Division has withdrawn the application effective October 22, 2012.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
P. 15n,,
Ir
Michael P.
