December 19, 1996
MEMO
TO: Rock Dump File
FROM: Steve Renner
RE: Wagner Payment, Rock Dump Project
J. Wagner left a message on my voice mail 12-17-96 stating that he
believed that there was a discrepancy between Jim McArdle's early
December letter outlining amounts still owed and Wagner's
calculation of what was owed. Wagner requested that I FAX him my
equipment rental documents.
On the morning of 12-19-96 I outlined what had been billed, what
had been paid and what was remaining to be settled. It became
apparent that Wagner had not yet billed for the equipment rental.
At about 7: 25 a.m. I called J. Wagner and told him that he had not
yet billed for the equipment rental, and that Jim McArdle had
simply not noticed this in his review. I told Wagner that my notes
indicated that we had rented 6 hours of dozer time and 4 hours of
back hoe time. I told him that was recorded on the equipment
rental form which he signed last summer. When asked, he said he
had a copy of the form, but wanted to confirm the time. He stated
that he sent a bill to McArdle yesterday for this amount of time,
but noted that there was a conversion for the dozer horse power.
After the conversation, I called Jim McArdle to report the
conversation, and asked him to FAX a copy of the bill when it
arrived.
