The following <br /> clarifications and amendments should be noted and incorporated into the bid documents: <br /> 1 . The borrow areas for the"topsoil substitute shall be excavated in the following order: <br /> A) Road B (main road west of Rock Tunnel entries) outslopes from west to east; <br /> B) Road A outslope (main road downstream of Dutch Creek culvert crossing to <br /> rock dump); <br /> C) Bench outslope south west of the Rock Tunnel entries. <br /> 2. Please provide a cost on the attached revised Bid Schedule for three (3) tons per acre <br /> of native grass hay. This material will be in addition to the mulch required in Task 5, <br /> Revegetation, of the Invitation to Bid. The price should include the cost to purchase, <br /> deliver and work this material completely into the topsoil and topsoil substitute after it <br /> is placed on the dump by discing or furrowing. The use of this material is NOT <br /> guaranteed. Payment will be made on a per acre basis, and will constitute full <br /> payment for materials, labor and all incidental costs. <br /> 3. All terms and conditions of the Invitation and Bid other than as changed by this <br /> amendment remain the same. <br /> 4.
