SITE CLASSIFICATIONS
<br /> Erosion impact of the roll ditch sites has been classified into 5 groups. Class 1 had no
<br /> problems with erosion. Class 2 had some minor erosion,but is not in danger of further activity.
<br /> Class 3 has potential for further erosion,but very minor repairs will correct the problem. Class 4
<br /> has potential for further erosion and will require more labor intensive efforts to correct. Class 5
<br /> are major problems for further erosion and will require some re-engineering and thought.
<br /> 129 sites were evaluated for erosion impact. Of the 129 sites 62 or 48 %were Class 1.
<br /> 33 or 25.6 %were Class 2. 11 or 8.5 %were Class 3. 12 or 9.4 %were Class 4. 11 or 8.5 %were
<br /> Class 5. The following table is a site by site break down into the classifications.

<br /> From this classification 95 sites or 73.6 %have performed as hoped. 11 sites are quick
<br /> fixes. 23 site will need work that will require some thought. A 17.9 % failure rate under above
<br /> average conditions is not bad.
