STATE BUILDINGS PROGRAMS <br /> CONTRACTOR'S STATEMENT OF EXPERIENCE <br /> BIDDING INFORMATION <br /> 1. A Contractor desiring to submit a bid on a project of$50,000 or more, and processed by State <br /> Buildings Programs, must be qualified through the submission of a'Contractor's Statement of <br /> Experience'. Such statement is confidential and will be so treated. <br /> 2. When submitting a bid, a Contractor qualified as a corporation must submit a bid as a corporation; as a <br /> copartnership he must submit a bid as a copartnership, etc. Where qualification is in the name of and <br /> based on a combination of organizations,then the submitted bid must be in the name of the <br /> combination so qualified. The qualification held by a Contractor must authorize the type of work on <br /> which he requests permission to submit a bid. <br /> 3. Each Contractor submitting a bid will be furnished a standard State or Federal form which must be <br /> used. This bid will not be accepted unless a 'Contractor's Statement of Experience', has been <br /> submitted, and he has been qualified for at least two (2) calendar days prior to the date fixed for <br /> publicly opening sealed bids. <br /> QUALIFICATION <br /> State Buildings Programs will qualify or disqualify a Contractor on the basis of: <br /> (1) The information contained in this statement and <br /> (2) Past contract experience with the State. <br /> NOTIFICATION <br /> State Buildings Programs will, in writing, notify Contractors of their qualification or disqualification. <br /> LAW <br /> The Colorado Revised Statutes, Chapter 24-30-1303, define in part the powers and duties of State Buildings <br /> Programs as follows: (1)(q) Develop and maintain approved lists of qualified contractors to bid on <br /> construction projects. <br /> Page 13 of 13 <br /> State Form SG9.1 (revised 12/95) <br />
