Water quality is poor as indicated by high concentrations of total dissolved <br />solids such as carbonate and sulfate plus ore related constituents such as uranium and <br />radium 226. These concentrations result in groundwater that is not a potable water <br />source based on exceeding Federal and State water quality standards and guidelines. A <br />water sample from the mine listed as the portal spring and presented in Table 3 contained <br />O'Connor Design Group Inc. <br />U -21 <br />
