Shrubs and Utah juniper trees <br />may increase slightly. Total annual production decreases <br />greatly. If the site is overgrazed by sheep, the grasses, forbs, <br />and shrubs will decrease in pounds per acre. Fires in this area <br />are generally small since production is so low. There is not <br />enough fuel to carry a fire in normal years.
