This includes a letter from the U. S . Forest <br /> Service, addressed to George Wear, concerning haul roads . <br /> A study and conceptual plan for the post-mining land use was <br /> prepared by Paul Hauk. <br /> The permit renewal application further states, at Vol . 1, <br /> Introduction, that during the adequacy review phase of processing <br /> the permit application (1981-1983) , Mid-Continent personnel made <br /> numerous visits to the Mined Land Reclamation Division, meeting <br /> principally with Jim Herron, Jim Pendleton, Fred Banta, Brian Munson <br /> and David Shelton. During the mid-term review of the permit <br /> application, MLRD personnel involved were Candace ' Thompson, Mike <br /> Long and Jeff Deckler. I believe that Mid-Continent was represented <br /> at these meetings by George Wear and Doug Bowman, although I did not <br /> participate myself and do not have personal knowledge of this <br /> matter. <br /> Interrogatory No. 9 . State and explain your involvement in the <br /> 1987 application to renew Mid-Continent Resources, Inc . ' s permi": no . <br /> C-81-017 .
