The Mourning Dove and the Common Nighthawk are common during the spring and <br />summer and leave during the winter. The White- throated Swift and the Broad - tailed <br />Hummingbird are present during the spring and summer and leave during the winter. <br />The Common Flicker is a year -round breeding resident of the area. The yellow - bellied <br />Sapsucker is present during the winter and migrates to higher altitudes in the spring. The <br />downy Woodpecker is a year -round resident in the area. <br />The Western Kingbird is a common breeding bird in the area during the summer but <br />leaves for the winter. The Western Wood Pewee breeds in the area in the summer and <br />migrates for the winter. The Ash - throated Flycatcher is a present but uncommon summer <br />resident and leaves for the winter. <br />The Horned Lark is commonly found year -round in the big sagebrush habitat. <br />The Violet -green Barn Cliff and Rough- Winged Swallows are common during the spring <br />and summer and nest in the area. They migrate during the winter. <br />The Scrub Jay is a common year- round, breeding resident of the area. The Black - billed <br />Magpie and the Common Raven are transient but are present year -round in the area. <br />Both species breed in the general vicinity, with the Common Raven preferring the cliff <br />nest sites and the Black- billed Magpie nesting in trees. The Pinion -Jay is a common <br />year -round resident of the area and breeds in the pinion juniper woodland area in summer <br />but is usually found at higher altitudes. <br />The Mountain Chickadee is a common year -round breeding resident of the area. The <br />Plain Titmouse is an uncommon year -round resident of the area. The common Bushtit <br />and the White- breasted Nuthatch are year -round breeding residents in the area. <br />The Bewick's Wren is present in the area in the spring and the summer and leaves during <br />the winter. <br />The Sage Thrasher is common during the spring and summer in the big sagebrush habitat <br />shrub land and breeds there. It leaves the area during the winter. <br />The Mountain Bluebird and the Blue -gray Gnatcatcher are common from the late winter <br />through the summer, but migrate during the coldest part of the year. <br />The Loggerhead Shrike is a year -round breeding resident of the area. <br />The Starling is found near man -made structures in the area and is a year -round breeding <br />resident of the area. <br />The Solitary Vireo is an uncommon nesting bird in the area and leaves during the winter. <br />JD -7 Exhibit H v7 <br />H -2 <br />
