Dear Mr. Routten:
The clean-water diversion above the area adjacent the old refuse pile pile was
constructed, as required by NoV C-93-096, prior to July 20, 1993,
However, the notice, quoted below as it pertains to the old refuse pile, had not actually
specified submittal of as-built certifications, and I did not receive until today, August 1,
the notice of extension which A&specify "submittal of the as-built certifications of 100-
year diversions around old refuse pile...."

Area Affected:
The diversion above the old refuse disposal pile where it drains off to the
west.
Clean water diversion above pile.
Abatement Reaulre
1. Reestablish upper diversion to safely drain water away from the pile.
This shall be reestablished or constructed via the approved plan.
Enclosed are calculations and as-built design certifications for the ditch at the base of
the area adjacent the old refuse pile, which runs to a pond on the pile.
