Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Yoast Mine based on aerial photographs of the site taken by Harry Ranney of <br /> the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety(Division). These photographs were reviewed by Jared <br /> Ebert of the Division. Weather conditions appeared to be clear. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05; Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.053; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br /> 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br /> Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Surge tanks have been installed along drainage YPM-13. These tanks appear stable and functional. The drainage <br /> appears maintained and stable. <br /> YPM-9 and YPM-8 drainages appear stable and functional. <br /> YPM-6-1 and YPM-1-1 in the south area appears eroded and will need to be repaired. <br /> Pond 011A is holding water and the emergency spillway appears stable and functional. The embankment is stable <br /> and vegetated. <br /> Pond 012A and 012 were holding water. Their embankments appear stable. The drainages leading to these ponds <br /> appear eroded and incised in the photographs. These drainages will need to be repaired. <br /> Pond 013 is holding water and the pond embankment appears stable. The emergency spillway appears stable and <br /> functional. <br /> Pond 014 is holding water and the pond embankment appears stable.
