We think
this rock would greatly stabilize the compaction of the dump
material . The trash is hauled in on a weekly basis ; if the
trommel rock were also hauled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis,
this would layer the material in the dump site . With only
two years of surface operation remaining at No . 1 and No. 2
Mines this would help to return the strip pit dump area to
A.O.C. A D-8 cat would periodically spread and compact the
area.
Please contact me if you have any questions about this
matter .
Sincerely,
i)61A
Environmental Coordinator
DWBowman :ms
