C-84-097 No. 3 Mine Lower Bin Pad
(Item 4 Sediment Control Plan)
Dear Jim:
Enclosed is the revised sediment control plan for No. 3
Lower Bin Pad.
We have constructed a new clean water ditch and berm (see
sketch) along the base of the cut slope. We have also con-
structed a catch basin (excavated) that is approximately
20 'x40'x5' or 0. 1 acre ft . We have regraded the pad so that
all disturbed drainage goes into the basin (0.45 acre) .
When the snow melts behind the bin we will remove the
remaining snow-pushed debris and construct the berm and
fence.
We would submit this as our revised sediment control plan
and also as our constructed plan Item No. 5.
The sediment catchment basin would be cleaned out when the
sediment level reached 50 percent of capacity or more .
Please call me if you have any questions about this.
Sincerely,
(; 4 I
x_Z"'
Environmental Coordinator
DWBowman:ms
Enclosure
