A
ramp will be constructed to allow easy access to a new pump system. To show this location,
Map 2.05.3 -M1B, Mine Facilities Map (North End) has been updated.
Map 2.05.3 -M4, Drainage and Sediment Control Plan has also been updated to include three
new culverts on site and show the culvert connecting the two portal sumps. The first of the new
culverts, SC -23, will be located near the upper warehouse. No design work is needed as it will
be the same size of culvert 64A directly below it, and only be used to facilitate access to the new
east bay door. The second culvert, SC -24, is a temporary pipe to allow water to cross the
temporary beltline to the portal sump. This culvert will be removed when permanent belt
structure is put in place. The last culvert, SC -25, is a seep drainage pipe. It is located on the
substation pad.
The culvert table in Exhibit 2.05.3- E2.G -2, South Facilities Area Operations Ditch and Culvert
Designs, has been updated as well. The table now includes the new culverts in addition to the as
built dimensions of those culverts approved in TR -04.
