This bond release report is
related to 74 individual drill locations on 48 drill pads totaling 47.65 acres, and 8.5 miles of
access roads associated with the West Elk Mine's B seam development in the Sylvester Gulch,
West Flatiron, Long Draw and Deep Creek areas on the Gunnison National Forest.
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (CDRMS) has determined through
inspections conducted in 2011 and 2012 that these reclaimed roads and drill pads have met the
requirements for Phase I bond release. Representatives from the Paonia Ranger District Minerals
Program have visited all of these sites on several occasions during CDRMS's inspections and
concur with CDRMS that these sites meet the requirements for Phase I bond release.
If you have any questions please contact Ryan Taylor the Paonia District Minerals Administrator
at (970) 527 -4131.
Sincerely,
LEVI K.
