Project Water Requirements
Development 5,000 gal /month 60,000 gal /yr
Mining 5,000 gal /month 60,000 gal /yr
Reclamation None Anticipated
The source of water for the mining and development efforts will be the Naturita
Municipal System. No adjudicated water rights will be injured by this project.
A more detailed review of the water information on the Mineral Joe permit site is
provided in Exhibit T — EPP.
Wildlife Information
The mine permit area located on the Mineral Joe 17, 18 and 19 claims has already had
most of the permitted area disturbed by mine waste disposal. The mine permit area on
the Mineral Joe 12 has already had all of the permitted area disturbed by construction of
the vent hole and access road. The permitted area on the Mineral Joe 2 claim has already
had all of the permitted area disturbed by the previous development of the Mineral Joe 2
decline.
The mine waste rock area in the mine permit area is very small relative to the foraging
range for all of the wildlife of concern in that area, which significantly reduces the
potential exposure levels to any constituents of concern that may leach out of the mine
waste rock.
After mining is finished the permitted affected areas will be recontoured, have available
stockpiled soil material spread over the re- contoured areas, then re- vegetated to provide
rangeland at a minimum that is comparable to the surrounding areas.
