The portal area for the Mineral Joe Mine is the Duggan Adit, located at EE 18 Rd, on the <br />north side of Monogram Mesa in Montrose County, Colorado. The Mineral Joe Mine <br />consists of portions of the Mineral Joe 2, 12, 14, 17, 18, and 19 claims. <br />Planned affected acreage for the Mineral Joe Mine is as follows: <br />Current permitted Proposed <br />Affected area affected area <br />Mineral Joe 2 claim <br />Escapeway portal and access road SW1 /4 NW1 /4 Sec 21 1.59 0.28 <br />Mineral Joe 12 claim <br />Vent hole and access road NW1 /4 SE1 /4 Sec 22 2.51 0.62 <br />Mineral Joe 17, 18, and 19 claims <br />waste dump and mine portal S W 1 /4 NE 1 /4 Sec 22 2.73 2.73 <br />Total affected area <br />The Mineral Joe portal area is located at <br />N38 13' 41.79" <br />W108 43' 43.44" <br />Currently the planned affected acreage on the Mineral Joe claims has been affected by the <br />current mining operation.
