have copied the text of this section for you below — you'll see that 90 days after the TC notice is a significant <br />date. <br />In this case, October 11th will be the 90th day following the TC notification. <br />Page 382 <br />Section 4.30.1 <br />4.30 CESSATION OF OPERATIONS <br />4.30.1 Temporary. <br />(1) Each person who conducts surface or underground mining activities <br />shall effectively support and maintain all surface access openings to <br />underground operations, and secure surface facilities in areas in which <br />there are no current operations, but operations are to be resumed under <br />an approved permit. Temporary abandonment shall not relieve a person <br />of the obligation to comply with any provisions of the approved permit. <br />(2) Before temporary cessation of mining and reclamation operations for a <br />period of 30 days or more, or as soon as it is known that a temporary <br />cessation will extend beyond 30 days, the permittee shall notify the <br />Division. Within 90 days after notifying the Division, the permittee <br />shall submit to the Division a notice of intention to cease temporarily or <br />abandon operations. This notice shall include a statement of: <br />(a) The exact number of surface acres and the horizontal and vertical <br />extent of subsurface strata which have been affected in the permit <br />area prior to cessation or abandonment; <br />(b) The extent and kind or reclamation of surface area which will have <br />been accomplished through the date of cessation or abandonment; <br />(c) Identification of the backfilling, regrading, revegetation, <br />environmental monitoring, underground opening closures and <br />water treatment activities that continue during the temporary <br />cessation; and <br />(d) A brief description of the circumstances surrounding the temporary <br />cessation of operations and anticipated date for resumption of <br />
