1 <br /> BEFORE THE MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD <br /> STATE OF COLORADO <br /> File No. C-81-017 <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> ORDER REVOKING PERMIT AND SETTING RECLAMATION SCHEDULE <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> IN THE MATTER OF MID-CONTINENT RESOURCES, INC. <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> This matter came before the Mined Land Reclamation Board <br /> ("Board) for a hearing on whether to revoke Permit No. C-81-017 <br /> ("the permit") issued to Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. ("MCR") . <br /> 1. In May 1991 the Board entered an order ("May 1991 <br /> Order") in this matter approving of a Settlement Agreement be- <br /> tween the Division of Minerals and Geology ("the Division") , for- <br /> merly the Mined Land Reclamation Division, and continuing the <br /> hearing to the Board's January 1992 meeting. <br /> 2. The hearing in this matter was subsequently .continued <br /> to May 28 , 1992, at which time the Board modified the May 1991 <br /> Order by extending the date for the commencement of reclamation <br /> to August 3 , 1992. <br /> 3 . In July, the Board further continued the hearing to Au- <br /> gust 26, 1992. <br /> ORDER <br /> 4 . Pursuant to $34-33-124 (4) , C.R.S. the Board hereby <br /> revokes Permit No. C-81-017. <br /> 6. The Board orders MCR to perform reclamation pursuant to <br /> the Final Reclamation Schedule specified in the Settlement Agree- <br /> ment incorporated into the May 1991 Order, as modified by the May <br /> 1992 Order. <br /> 7. The Board acknowledges that MCR, and its contractor, <br /> may conduct salvage operations at the site notwithstanding the <br /> revocation of the permit. Such salvage operations are a compo- <br /> nent of reclamation operations. Pursuant to S34-33-124 (4) , <br /> C.R. S. an operator may conduct such reclamation operations fol- <br />
