Norell, Esq. -= - DATE: January 21, 1980 RE: Self bond-title insurance commitment-Carbondale Industrial Park/Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. In order to comply with the regulations governing the self bonding procedure, Mid-Continent Resources has obtained a commitment for title insurance, covering the property which is being proposed as security. The commitment for title insurance contains two requirements which I am in the process of satisfying. The first requirement, that of obtaining a release of a deed of trust recorded with the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder at Book 380, Page 556 is presently nearly completed. Mr. and Mrs. :Merrill, the holders of the deed of trust, have indicated their willingness to give a release covering the lands, however, the release has not been completed due to Mr. Merrill's ill health. The second deed of trust found at Book 467, Page 433, will be the sub- ject of a partial release covering the land when the public trustee receives the copy of the original promissory note. This release has been subject to a delay due to the distances involved among the holders of the deed of trust. At the present time we are in receipt of partial releases from three of the parties involved and have received a trans- mittal letter covering the necessary fourth one. As soon as the necessary documents are received, the title commitment requirements will be satisfied and title will rest in unencumbered fee in Mid-Continent Resources, Inc.
