c <br /> STATE OF COLORADO <br /> MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD <br /> RECLAMATION BOND <br /> Permit No. 77-419 <br /> Reclamation Bond No. <br /> KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that we, MID-CONTINENT <br /> RESOURCES, INC. , 201 Centennial Street, Suite 406 , Glenwood Springs, <br /> Colorado 81601 a corporation duly organized and existing under the <br /> laws of the State of Delaware and authorized to do business in the <br /> State of Colorado as principal, having pledged real property located <br /> in Garfield County, Colorado as surety under this Bond by Deed of <br /> Trust dated June , 1984 and recorded in Book , Page , <br /> office of the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder, securing this <br /> warranty and other warranties , are held hereby and firmly bound under <br /> the State of Colorado, acting through the Mined Land Reclamation <br /> Board in the sum of $ for the payment of which <br /> sum well and truly to be made, we hereby bind ourselves , and each <br /> of our successors and assigns , jointly and severly, firmly by these <br /> presents. <br /> WHEREAS, the principal has been granted a life of the mine <br /> permit from the Mined Land Reclamation Board, bearing No. 77-419 , <br /> to conduct coal mining operations on the premises described in <br /> said permit. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE the conditions of this obligation are such <br /> that if the above bonded principal shall in conducting such mining <br /> operations faithfully perform the requirements of the reclamation <br /> plan, the provisions of the application approved by the Mined Land <br /> Reclamation Board, and the conditions of the permit issued to <br /> engage in coal mining operations by the Mined Land Reclamation Board <br /> relating to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act, as <br /> amended (1976 Sess . Laws H.B. 1065) and the Rules and Regulations <br /> adopted pursuant thereto, upon the Mined Land Reclamation Board <br /> making a finding that the lands described above, or any portion <br /> of such lands have been satisfactorily reclaimed and approving <br /> the Operator' s request for a bond release on such lands , or <br /> any portion thereof, then this obligation shall be exonerated <br />
