Box 158, Carbondale, Colorado, 81623 , pursuant <br /> to order of the Mined Land Reclamation Board, filed Reclamation <br /> Bond in the sum of SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS <br /> ($765, 000) , and pledged as surety thereon certain real <br /> estate in Carbondale, Garfield County, Colorado by "Mortgage <br /> to Secure Reclamation Bond" recorded February 21, 1980 , <br /> Reception No. 3010803, Book 544 , Page 32 , Garfield County <br /> Clerk and Recorder' s office, which surety property has an <br /> appraised value of $2 , 000, 000, as appears from appraisal <br /> filed with the Mined Land Reclamation Board, <br /> WHEREAS, Mid-Continent Resources , Inc. , had there- <br /> tofore filed Reclamation Bond in the amount of $50 , 000 on <br /> Application for Tunnel Permit, pledging Certificate of <br /> Deposit as surety thereon, the tunnel and surface areas <br /> appurtenant thereto being designed to serve the Coal Basin <br /> Mines, the subject matter of said Bond for $765,000 , <br /> WHEREAS, the Mined Land Reclamation Board has <br /> directed that the Bond on the said tunnel and appurtenances <br /> be raised to $16 , 500, or to a total of $66 , 500 , <br /> WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the bonding on the <br /> said tunnel with appurtenances, and other Coal Basin Mine <br /> facilities be consolidated and that the mortgage to secure <br /> reclamation bond extend to and be made applicable to the <br /> entire bonded amount, <br />
