<br /> $2 , 000 ,000 , as appears from a December 28 , 1979 appraisal filed
<br /> with the Mined Land Reclamation Board,
<br /> WHEREAS, Mid-Continent Resources , Inc. , amended the
<br /> ' Reclamation Bond to increase the amount thereof from $765 , 000
<br /> to $831, 500 by Amendment to Reclamation Bond and recorded
<br /> "Amendment to Mortgage Deed to Secure Reclamation Bond" by
<br /> document recorded July 1, 1980 in Book 550 , Paqe 974 , Garfield
<br /> County Records .
<br /> WHEREAS , Mid-Continent Resources , Inc. , amended the
<br /> Reclamation Bond to increase the amount thereof from $831 , 500
<br /> to $1, 970 , 148 by Second Amendment to Reclamation Bond and
<br /> recorded "Second Amendment to Mortgaqe Deed to Secure Reclamation
<br /> Bond" by document recorded March 30 , 1983 in Book 623 , Paqe
<br /> 826 , Garfield County Records , which surety property had an
<br /> updated appraised value of $2 , 300 , 000 , as appears from a
<br /> December 3 , 1982 appraisal filed with the Plined Land Reclamation
