WHEREAS, Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. , amended
the Reclamation Bond to increase the amount thereof from
$831 , 500 to $1, 970,148 by Second Amendment to Reclamation
Bond and recorded "Second Amendment to Mortgage Deed to
Secure Reclamation Bond" by document recorded March 30,
1983, Reception No. 340359, in Book 623, Page 826, Garfield
County Records, which surety property had an updated appraised
value of $2, 300, 000, as appears from a December 3, 1982
appraisal filed with the Mined Land Reclamation Board,
WHEREAS, Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. amended the
Reclamation Bond to increase the amount thereof from $1, 970 , 148
to $1, 981 , 398 by Third Amendment to Reclamation Bond and
recorded "Third Amendment to Mortgage Deed to Secure Reclamation
Bond" by document recorded June 29 , 1983 , Reception No. 343459 ,
in Book 629 , Page 808 , Garfield County Records,
WHEREAS, the Mined Land Reclamation Division, in
its final review of the first minor revision to the Coal
Basin Mine Permit has calculated reclamation costs for the
revision and determined that they total $10, 000 for a permit
total of $1, 991, 398 .
THEREFORE, the Reclamation Bond is hereby amended
to increase the amount thereof from $1, 981, 398 to $1, 991 , 398
and the "Mortgage Deed to Secure Reclamation Bond" , recorded
as above stated, is likewise amended to the amount of $1, 991, 398
and the property described as surety therefore is pledged
for such amount in accordance with the term of said Mortgage
Deed to Secure Reclamation Bond.
In all other respects the said Reclamation Bond
and the Mortgage Deed to Secure the same are hereby ratified,
confirmed and approved.
