MID-CONTINENT RESOURCES. INC.
201 Centennial St.,Suite 406
Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81601
(303)945-4958
July 12 , 1984 RECEIVED
J U L 1 .
MINED LAND
Colo. Dept. ofi P,aTU+cl hL_,;,ijCMr. Jim Herron
Mined Land Reclamation Division
723 Centennial Building
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, CO 80203
Dear Jim.
Enclosed is a copy of the title commitment for the Carbondale
property Mid-Continent is offering as surety for future Coal
Basin reclamation bonding.
As soon as I receive approved copies of the Deed of Trust and
the Reclamation Bond for the conveyor system I will have them
recorded and the insurance policy will then be issue.
I •m having a local engineering firm calculate the reclamation
costs for the tunnel to prep plant conveyor system. If their
estimates are lower than yours I would like to negotiate the
final figure with you. We believe the $359 , 225 . 00 figure to
be awfully high.
Let me know if there are any problems with the bonding
document.
Sincerely,
17—
George E. Wear
Director, Special Projects
GEW:rm
