KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That Mid-Continent Resources, Inc.
of the County of Garfield in the State of Colorado
as Principal, is held hereby and fi rmly bound unto the State of Colorado ("the
State"), in the sum of
Three Hundred and Fifty Nine Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty FiveDOLLARS
($ 359,225.00 ) for the payment of which sum, well and truly to
be made, we hereDy D1nd ourselves and our personal representatives, successors
and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents.
Principal has, 'as grantor, executed and delivered to the State a certain
DEED OF TRUST in the amount of
Six Hundred and Seventy 'Tian Tho ieand Three H inured and Fi ft,Z DOLLARS
($ 672,350-00 ) in favor of the Public Trustee of _j;arfielrl
County, Colorado, conveying certain lands in said county and state to the
Public Trustee to be held in trust for the benefit of the State, as surety
("the Surety") for the faithful performance by the Principal of the
Principal 's obligations to the State evidenced by this bond.
WHEREAS, the Principal has applied for a permit ("the Permit") to
conduct mining and reclamation operations on certain lands in Pitkin
County, Colorado which, for convenience of reference, are described as follows:
A Seven Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty (7, 220) acre
tract of land in Pitkin and Gunnison Counties approximately
five miles west of Redstone, Colorado and as shown on the
permit map labled II-B-1.
