INC. <br /> 201 Centennial St..Suite 406 <br /> Glen-wood Springs, Colorado 81601 <br /> 1303)945-4958 <br /> April 2, 1985 V <br /> Ms. Candace Thompson <br /> Reclamation Specialist <br /> Mined Land Reclamation Division <br /> 423 Centennial Building <br /> 1313 Sherman Street <br /> Denver, CO 80203 <br /> Dear Candace: <br /> Reference MLRD letter of March 27 , 1985 signed by Jim Herron <br /> in which Mid-Continent is advised to submit a replacement bond <br /> for the revised amount for the tunnel to wash plant conveyor <br /> system. <br /> I believe that our previous bond in the amount of $359,225 <br /> was replaced by a reclamation bond in the amount of $672, 350 <br /> secured by "Deed of Trust to Secure Reclamation Bond or Bonds <br /> Future Advances" dated July 10 , 1984 and recorded in Garfield <br /> County in Book 653 , Pages 295-297 in the amount of $672 , 350 . <br /> See letter dated October 3, 1984 from Jim Herron on this subject. <br /> The purpose of this bond of $672 , 350 . 00 is to provide bonding <br /> capacity for the new Sutey coal refuse area, the tunnel to <br /> wash plant conveyor system and any other additional bonding <br /> requirements that may arise in the future. Its current status <br /> is as follows now that the tunnel to wash plant conveyor system <br /> bonding amount has been adjusted: <br /> Bonding Requirements Bonding Capacity <br /> Sutey Area $205, 252 $672 , 350 <br /> Tunnel to Wash <br /> Plant 307, 138 -512 , 390 <br /> Total $512 , 390 $159, 960 Remaining <br /> If you have any questions on the Coal Basin reclamation bonding <br /> situation, please give me a call. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> George E.
